The glam-rock reviving Clone are incomparable in the sea of contemporary music. The Vancouver based band seamlessly fuses the best parts of rock and roll, glam and punk rock. Everything they do is visually and audibly enthralling. Clone is renowned for dizzying performances that feature each member dressed as their alter ego. The details are wildly astute- from every false eyelash to sequined boots. They fantastically gender-bend, explore their personas and perform like there is no tomorrow. This is certainly refreshing in a world of everybody taking themselves far too seriously. Clone’s music is astute, complex and packed to the brim with diverse talent. They are able to deliver perfectly timed notes and esteemed vocals all while drenched in glitter. Their new music video for Bubblegum perfectly encapsulates the backbone of the band. It is an unapologetic display of hot pink rock and roll. That’s the beauty of Clone- their music is somehow simultaneously punk rock yet pretty.

The video was directed by lead band members Juniper Waters and Kelly Zombor AKA Rocket Science and Duke Swallswell. Bubblegum is a single from their upcoming EP which will be unleashed shortly. Check out the video below and stay tuned for the extraordinary gifts that Clone has to offer.
