Vancouver rockers, Dead Zones, are back with their latest single, ‘Meat Eaters’. Their first release since last year’s, ‘The Dead Zones II’, the song is familiar territory for fans of the band and is sure to get new fans movin’ and shakin’ too.

The video is a classy yet debaucherous affair, much like the band’s brand of groovy, heavy rock. Calling back to the kind of tongue-in-cheek humour found in bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys, their talent is undeniable and their self-awareness is a refreshing change. The band directed it themselves with the help of close friends Zack Focker and Stefan Obusen. It was filmed on a freezing cold night in a garge and was fulled by “prop” whiskey and the sheer essence of rock and roll. The all too serious (read: stuffy) Vancouver music scene needs an injection of good, head-banging fun every once in awhile, and ‘Meat Eaters’ is just that. Check out the delicious feast of cinematography below.
